Aneurysm-NL aims to improve the prognosis of patients with an aortic or intracranial aneurysm by establishing a sustainable nationwide multidisciplinary aneurysm community that will facilitate national multidisciplinary research collaborations.

The Aneurysm-NL community will be established by co-creating a transparent collaborative governance ecosystem with all stakeholders, supported by an innovative data infrastructure that empowers researchers across disciplines to share available data resources, and aligns with existing national registries. Through this community Aneurysm-NL aims to find novel targets for medical treatment strategies, develop better tools to predict the evolution of (acute) aortic aneurysmal disease and support treatment decision making, and create safer and more effective innovative aneurysm treatment options.
